Last weekend I was a hostess for a Sip-N-See for our good friend Hillary, and I was in charge of the cake. I love making cakes and I thought that this time I would make petit fours for the shower instead of a cake. Truthfully I was very nervous that they would not turn out the way I had invisioned it in my mind and as you can see from the pictures it was tragic. I am very much a perfectionist and there was no way that I was taking cakes that looked like that to Hillary's shower!! So at 6:00 the evening before my sweet husband went to the store and bought everything I needed to make another cake. The baking process started all over and the end result is in coming up next. . .
