One of Will's friends from work had a pool party this weekend, and with our three little ducks in tow we ventured out. I think Will and I realized for the first time that we actually have three children that are ours and we have to keep track of. Sure everything seems easy when you are in the comfort of your own home but man getting out of the house these days is an event that takes fine planning. I am sure the sweet friends that threw the party saw us coming and thought we were planning on moving in with all the stuff we had to bring. For all you moms, packing for one child is a task in and of it self, just wait until you have to do it for three. I almost left the house without bottles and formula. I never thought I would be that person who puts sticky notes on the door knob to remind myself not to forget this or that but I put it on my grocery list for this week and that will be the first item in my basket. Enough rambling, the party was fun and the boys enjoyed the water. After their dip in the pool I laid a towel in the shade and they both took a little cat nap for about 45 minutes. Just long enough for me to eat some Rudy's BBQ. It was very yummy! Thanks Stueve family for having us over. We enjoyed the party and the company.
