Things at the Russ house hold have been crazy!!Let me back track three weeks and tell you about all of our fun. It started with VBS at our church. I volunteered to help with the nursery this year and I will say that all 3 of my children were exhausted by the end of the week. We also had Brinley's third birthday and I made some of the goodies as you can see. I will post more pictures of her party tomorrow. I have to sift through them to find some good ones. She had so much fun and loves telling everyone that she is "thwee". I don't think she understands that she has to wait a whole year to celebrate her birthday again. After her party Will and I headed to a wedding for one of his co-workers. Congrats to Michelle and John!! We are so happy for you guys! The next few days were spent packing a family of five for two weeks. Not an easy job. On Tuesday we loaded up the car and headed down to Georgetown were we had the privilege of staying with the sweetest family in the world. The Day family!! The Day family has a very special place in the hearts of Will and I. I grew up babysitting the Day children and Will actually helped babysit them as well. Tracey and Angie are such a great examples of godly parents. Will and I were looking forward to just soaking up some of their parenting wisdom while we were there, and that we did. On Saturday the 28th of June Will and I, yes just Will and I left for Marco, Island Florida. It was the most relaxing 5 days I could of asked for. We relaxed by the pool and took walks on the beach. We ate extremely over priced food at the hotel restaurants and enjoyed taking our time at dinner. It was so nice to not have to worry about goldfish, sippy cups and potty breaks. We came home on the 3rd of July and celebrated the 4th with the Days. I have pictures to document all of these events and plan on posting something every day to catch myself up. I am sorry it has been so long and will try to be more on top of my blog now that things are a little more normal around here.
